Dark MOFO Cruise 18-19 June 2022 Come and join us in Hobart’s Constitution Dock on the weekend of 18-19 June to celebrate the Winter Solstice a bit early. Our Cruise coincides with the last weekend of Dark Mofo and is a great way to experience some time in the centre of Hobart and partake in some of what Dark Mofo has to offer. If you have done this Cruise before, you will know what a great weekend it can be! Get your creative juices working. We will have a competition for the best dressed boat using a red theme and visible in the dark. The Cruise is shown as two events: Friday night, 17 June in Con Dock, and Saturday night, 18 June, in Con Dock. If you wish to enter on Friday and stay two nights, register for the two events. If you wish to enter on Saturday and stay one night, register for the one event. The cost per night has been increased (for the first time in many years) to $40 per boat per night. Registration is mandatory and will close at midnight on Friday 10 June. Please register using the club web site. If you have any difficulties doing that or other questions and concerns, please either send me an email or give me a call. The tentative plan for bridge openings is: Friday 17 June: entry at 2:30 pm Saturday 18 June: entry at 2:30 pm Sunday 19 June: exit at 10:30 am. Last year, a few boats went into Con Dock earlier (Thursday, etc) and left on Monday. If anyone would like to do that this year, please contact me.
