In 2023 member Dorothy Darden and her granddaughter joined a cruise aboard the schooner MAPLE LEAF for two exciting weeks in the islands of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Haida Gwaii, considered the “Galapagos of the north”.
Dorothy and her late husband, Steve received CYCT cruising plaques for their travels around the Pacific, aboard their catamaran, ADAGIO. They had attempted without success, to tour the Queen Charlotte Islands in Canada previously.
