Official Opening 2024 Yachting Season - Sailpast
About this event
The Combined Clubs Opening Day is on Saturday Oct 5th and the CYCT Fleet start time is 14:15 with the dropping of Code Flag H (White & Red vertical) accompanied by a sound signal. The Start Line is between "Baby Grand" and an Orange Inflatable Buoy.
Webmaster, Rob Greenwell (0448 348 395) aboard "Cuvee" will lead the fleet and be displaying the CYCT Banner.
Assemble north of the Marshalling Vessel, Baby Grand (Blue Flag in the rigging), which will be moored South East of the Royal Hobart Regatta Ground. Follow Cuvée and proceed via the Red and Yellow flag mark in Sullivan’s Cove, leaving it to port then pass M. L. Egeria to port in a single line astern attempting to keep close formation especially when approaching and passing M.L. Egeria and then proceed to a rendezvous, probably Nutgrove Beach for those who are interested in joining us on board Cuvée for sundowners. Will make a decision on the day depending on conditions.
