Adventure Bay has been little visited by Club members over recent years and with the prevailing westerly flow this could make for a good short break weekend away. The bay has a couple of anchorages to chose from, with dinghy landings from both. Ashore the village shop and the Bowls Club can supply the forgotten bits and pieces, the Bligh Museum will explain the local history, there are easy walks along the foreshore, one taking 1.5 hrs return to Blackfellows Point, then enjoy a coffee or snack on your return at the cruise boat visitor centre. For the experienced bush walkers, the 2.5 hr circuit walk to Fluted Cape could be possible. Cruise Contact will be Julie Macdonald onboard Westerly on 0417 385 719.
