General Meeting - Chris Francis "Sailing around Cape Horn"
Chris Francis always believed he was a seafarer in a previous life. When the opportunity arose, he decided to test this theory and in 1995 departed England to sail across the World with his wife and two young children. Just to make the voyage more interesting he chose to do this on a replica of a hundred year old Colin Archer yacht with no modern equipment. His journey culminated in the Everest of sailing by rounding Cape Horn.
Now living in Cygnet, Chris would love to tell you a few stories that occurred on his adventure.
