The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

Here‘s an opportunity to take out your frustration with the proliferation of oysters on our beaches! Join Al and Dinah ashore with your gum boots and metal poles to clear a way ashore for our dinghies. Being held in the northern Channel area on Sunday morning before the low tide at 1100 hours, so head out Saturday afternoon and have a relaxing summer‘s evening onboard before heading ashore early Sunday morning to clear a way to the beach.
Now that summer has arrived think about joining a cruise to these sheltered waters - with protection easily found from all wind directions. Perhaps a night or more at Lagoon Beach inside Sloping Island, delightful Sommers Bay, explore the Coal Mines and consider heading through Denison Canal and head south a few miles for a stay in Lagoon Bay (great fishing here!)
A week to relax and enjoy being on your boat again, likey with some good sailing too and not too far to go either.
Finish up by extending your trip and heading to the Tasman Regatta at Taranna over the Australia Day long weekend.
The Regatta is on the Combined Clubs Calendar and is for racers and cruisers. So people can attend as competitors in the two races held each year, as entrants in our novelty event which involves a Le Mans start from the Clubhouse, a circumnavigation of Dart Island, deck hoses, flour bombs etc, or they can simply make it a social event. A nude swim gains extra points in the Dart Island event and the winner is not usually the first boat home.
The program currently is:
Saturday Self starting and self timed race from Castray Esplanade to White Rock (sOUTH arm). Cruise to Taranna.
Sunday 1100 hrs Taranna: Dave Hanson memorial sea trial circumnavigation of Dart Island (non racing novelty event)
Sunday 1300 hrs Taranna: Race to Smooth Island and return.
Sunday 1600 hrs Taranna: Presentations to competitors.
Think about joining the Norfolk Bay cruise, starting 17 January, prior to this cruise.
