Sometimes passion overrides practicality. When Val spotted SV Luthier for sale at Soldiers Point, NSW, it was love at first sight. Within a week the deal was done and thoughts turned to the 850nm delivery to Kettering. This presentation shares some of the highs, lows, laughs and learnings Val, Bev and Tracey encounter bringing Luthier to her new Tasmanian home.

The second in a trial of overnighting in Barnes Bay on a regular basis. Head down (or over) to Barnes Bay on Saturday, then home on Sunday. The anchorage will be chosen on the day by those attending, according to the predicted weather.

Enjoy the company of members with a wave to another boat, sundowners onboard or ashore, a late night catchup or a morning cuppa.

Keeping it simple means no registration required, no time frames, simply a chance to use the boat on a weekend and maybe say hi to old and new acquaintances.

Remember to fly your Club burgee!

It‘s time to get back on the water!

Skippers Val, Tricia, Tracey, Bev, Chrissie and maybe more WoBs are offering up their vessels for other WoB‘s to jump on board for a weekend of good companionship and create opportunity to hone sailing skills, take on roles beyond your usual, or simply enjoy being out on the water. Each of the boats can take on 1 -3 crew. Depending on numbers we may be able to open up the event to non-WoB women within the club.

Whilst the detail will emerge closer to the date when we have an idea of numbers, weather and participant preferences, in general its likely to be a 9 or 10 am start on Saturday, gathering at an anchorage around 3pm for the evening and aiming to be finish around 3/4pm Sunday. Whatever your skill level, this cruise is the one for you! WoB Sailaways are famous for their fun, sharing and learning. Please sign up early so that we can get a sense of the numbers.
