The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move

location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.

You are invited to join the annual Combined Clubs Opening Day sail past. Traditionally starting off the Regatta Grounds and heading into Sullivan‘s Cove and saluting the Governor onboard ML Egeria as you sail past.
Julie and Charles onboard RHONA H will be leading our Club boats, assembling off the Regatta Grounds by 1350, ready to join the sail past at 1415.
Why not consider joining the gathering of boats, after the sailpast, at anchor, at an area - depending on the weather - that will be advised on the day
A great day out with lots of boats on the water, and a chance to fly your Albatross burgee with pride!

Annette will talk about her exploits while cruising back from Japan to Australia following the Melbourne to Osaka Yacht Race. Annette is a qualified yachting instructor and also offers sailing trips
The talk will cover:
- The highlights of cruising the North Pacific
- A few tips on cruising in Japan highlighting the island of Chi Chi ShimaMariana Islands
- Federated States of MicronesiaPapua
- New Guinea
- Solomon Islands
She will also give some advice on entry requirements such as cruising permits/visa’s, the seasons and weather patterns in the area and some useful cruising guides and forums.
After the excitement of the 50th Anniversary Dinner last year, comes a low key get together with BYO refreshments, and bring food to share. This time it will be a land based afternoon/evening event within easy driving distance.

Why not join us for a trip up the Huon River on the Show Day weekend Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th October?
Our first stop will be Port Cygnet Sailing Club for a social evening. No need to worry about cooking dinner, the club has arranged for Dough Boys pizza van and the bar to be open for business.
We will head to Franklin on Friday.
On Saturday morning club members will have the opportunity to use the 3 St Giles Rowing Skiffs from the Living Boat Trust.
If you fancy a quiet row over to Egg Island or maybe a race along the river for those who would like a bit more excitement, the option is there.
The Living Boat Trust will prepare a delicious meal for us on Saturday night in the shed amongst the sawdust.
The trek home will commence on Sunday.
If anyone would like to travel by road to join us for dinner at PCSC and/or the Living Boat Trust in Franklin, you would be most welcome but please let Cruise Contact Catrina Boon know for catering purposes.

It‘s a "Lucky Dip" as to who will be around in the Barnes Bay area every last Saturday of the month!
This cruise is a monthly open invite to head down (up, or over) to Barnes Bay, on the last Saturday of the month, put up your burgee and head for one of its sheltered anchorages whilst keeping your eye out for other CYCT members. The anchorage for the night will be spontaneously chosen on the day according to the predicted weather, and the preference of those who turn up,
With no need to register and no sailing time frames, this cruise offers a spontaneous opportunity for you to enjoy the company of other CYCT members. At your choosing it may be simply a smile and a wave; sundowners onboard or ashore; a late night catchup or a morning cuppa. Your pick! Of course, if no one else comes out then perhaps it‘s an unexpected opportunity to enjoy some sea time solitude.
