General Meeting at RYCT 4 May 730pm "Rhona H and the mystery of the Bell"

For our May meeting the presenter will be Julie Porter and she will be telling us all about “SV Rhona H: our philosophy and her place in Tasmanian Maritime history including the mystery of the bell!” Now one of the regular sights on the River Derwent, but with a history that may interest members. SV Rhona H began her life as a gentleman’s recreational fishing boat, built as a ketch for cruising the NW Tasmanian and Bass Strait waters. She was converted in 1988 to her current configuration and Julie and Charles are delighted to share her story and her place in maritime history along with a few of the experiences they have had over the past few years. Please register now to secure your place. You can have a meal at the RYCT if you book separately with them on 62234599. Please order your meal on the night before 6pm.
